TCheadshotDSC_5997The Brand Director was launched by Tim Collins in 2016. Its purpose is to advise and manage the development and expansion of intellectual property into new products, services and markets to unlock new revenue streams.

Tim has over 20 years’ experience working for leading international entertainment and media companies including Universal Studios, HIT Entertainment, DreamWorks and Endemol.  He has led IP development and exploitation of internationally successful brands including Jurassic Park, Bob the Builder, Shrek and Deal or No Deal.  His most recent role was at leading British publisher DC Thomson where he led the development and expansion of The Beano, The Broons and Jackie into new areas including animated TV, book publishing, live events, theatre shows, pop-up retail, merchandising, restaurants and digital.

Client projects undertaken include a strategic review of the licensing operations at the R&A (The Open), including advice on new strategy and the appointment of a new agency structure; on-going licensing and commercial advice to leading 3D animation company Keyframe Studios; expansion of the direct to consumer model including launch of new publishing, merchandise and partnerships for Anderson Entertainment and various long and short term projects with great companies such as  Brooklands Museum; Peel Engineering; Brabham Branding; Games Workshop; Great Ormond Street Children’s Hospital (GOSH); Gigglebug Entertainment and Paper Owl Films.
